چکیده

 
در این مقاله به تجزیه وتحلیل تورم بر اساس مدل P* پرداخته شده است. این مدل با استفاده از داده‌های فصلی دوره 1384-1367 برای اقتصاد ایران مورد آزمون قرار گرفته و نتایج نشان می‌دهد که مدل P* از نظر آماری مورد تأیید است و قدرت توضیح‌دهندگی خوبی دارد. همچنین سهم شکاف قیمت در تبیین تورم کشور حدود 50/0 بوده که در مقاله حاضر از شکاف سرعت گردش پول و تولید به جای شکاف قیمت و بار دیگر از شکاف حجم پول استفاده شده است.
