چکیده

کلید تولید ثروت در اقتصاد دانش بنیان، انباشت و بکارگیری دانش در فعالیت‌ها و فرآیند جهانیشدن اقتصاد است. تحقیق حاضر با ردیابی ادبیات اقتصاد نهادی در مقابل اقتصاد تئوکلاسیک به دنبال بررسی نقش محیط نهادی در تحقق و توسعه اقتصاد دانش‌بنیان است. تحلیل تاثیر محیط نهادی بر اقتصاد دانش بنیان با استفاده از مبانی نظری موجود، شواهد آماری و برآورد رگرسیونی صورت پذیرفته است. طبق مبانی نظری، تحلیل محیط نهادی در سه سطح محیط سیاسی، محیط قانونی و محیط کسب‌وکار شکل گرفته است. بر همین اساس، نتایج برآورد رگرسیونی، حاکی از تاثیر مثبت و معنادار شاخص‌های محیط قانونی و محیط سیاسی بر تغییرات در شاخص اقتصاد دانش بنیان (KEI) بوده و تاثیر معنادار شاخص محیط کسب‌وکار مورد تایید قرار نگرفته است. با این حال، تاثیر مستقیم و معنادار شاخص کلی محیط نهادی بر بهبود اقتصاد دانش بنیان تایید شده است.
